Munich takes historical projects off the table
Yesterday, the Bavarian state cabinet decided against the financing of two historical projects. The projects were intended to refurbish two important aspects of the city's historical development - Munich's place in the 1918/1919 Revolution and the living conditions of Eastern European war refugees.
Originally intended to be handed to the Augsburg University, the cabinet has now decided to put a definite stop to the research projects. Officials justified their decision by pointing to the costs. Granting 250,000 euros to two new historical projects was regarded as too expensive. Register to read more... |
